John C. Manly, awarded a California "Super Lawyer" for the past several years running and one of California's "Top 100 Attorneys" by the L.A. Daily Journal, has spent his entire legal career—spanning more than 20 years—representing real estate clients on a wide array of issues. A noted expert, advocate and advisor, Mr. Manly's practice includes representation of developers and investors in the development, construction, transfer and leasing of commercial, industrial, mixed-use, multifamily and master-planned residential properties, specializing in lawsuit prevention and defense, environmental compliance and negotiations. Mr. Manly is a frequent lector at trade seminars, and a contributor to industry publications.

Personal Biography
A native Californian, John C. Manly was raised in Orange County and attended the University of Southern California, graduating in 1986 with a Bachelor's degree in international relations. John went on to work as a legislative assistant to a California legislator for a year, before attending law school at Pepperdine, graduating in 1990. John went on to serve as a law clerk to the General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission in Washington, D.C., and served 10 years in the United States military, as a U.S. Navy intelligence officer. John is admitted to practice in federal district court, and is a member of the California, New York, Arizona, and Alaska Bar Associations.
